Emily Simms serves as the Director of Financial Reporting at the firm.

Prior to joining Perot in 2017, Emily worked at PwC in the assurance group serving asset management and real estate clients.

Emily serves on the Advisory Council to the Department of Accounting at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.

Emily earned a Master of Professional Accounting degree in 2015 and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting with High Honors in 2014 from The University of Texas at Austin. Emily is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys practicing yoga, playing golf, and being outdoors. As an avid sports fan, Emily attends as many live sporting events as she can, particularly Dallas Stars games.
