Penny Pumphrey serves as the Legal Director for Petrus Aviation.

In her current role, Penny’s responsibilities include managing the legal transactions for the purchase and sale of on-lease and off-lease aircraft and engines, lease amendments and redeliveries.

Prior to joining Petrus Aviation in 2025, Penny worked at Aero Capital Solutions, Inc. as the Vice President of Legal for seven years where she focused on transactions involving buying and selling on-lease commercial aircraft.  Penny also worked at Q Aviation in Fort Worth, Texas for nine years.

A native of Arkansas, Penny graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a BS in Accounting.  She also received her JD from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

In her spare time, Penny enjoys country western dancing and attending Dallas Stars games.
